Arles, Jules, Vincent, Pablo and on and on

The former hospital of Arles where Van Gogh was a patient. He painted this exact scene (fair to say his painting had a lot more vibrance)

Musee Reattu- Pablo didn't restrict himself to canvas. He designed these outfits for an opera

Carrieres de Lumieres. What an amazing location for a light show, an ex limestone quarry. These caverns have had their walls smoothed out and you can now wander around and take in multiple (like heaps) of sixty foot projections  thrown onto the walls. Seventy projections at a time accompanied by classical music. Very very impressive. a big tick for French culture

Another famous Vincent shot, this time The Bridge Of Langlois. What the local maps don't tell you is that when you set out to see this disused lock, you need a cut lunch and a St Bernard. It's not exactly located next to the market square. That said it was worth the trek

Big fan at Vincents favorite watering hole in Place du Forum. Whats notable about this shot is the complete absence of Japanese tourists . They were all over the cafe like an invasion of locusts . more about Japanese tour groups when I work up the courage to comment suffice to say.............nevermind

Your round Vincent, and make it a double! (Is anyone going to tell him this stuff is a killer and encourages amateur surgery after downing a couple of bottles)
